The paper is an essay about three different autobiographical stories. The play by the author “Being a Nationalist”, the memoir book “Catharsis” (Katarse, 2012) by the lawyer Andris Grūtups and 60 notebooks of diaries by the homosexual Kaspars Irbe. The author shows the different approaches a playwright can have and what is his own mode of thinking in structuring “life” for a theatrical performance.Downloads
